Here is one of the images of my costumes on the catwalk from my end of year show, “Eleven”, it was held on the 15th Of May at the Worcester Royal Porcelain Museum.
With this finished i am now official a costume graduate! I have been meaning to update this for a while but have been caught up with moving out ect.
Here is my final image of my dame pantomime, dont know why it didnt work last time i tried to post it, better late then never suppose.
Will be uploading more images of the shoot including the other dress i made (can just see it under the green blanket in my old shoot post) on my website soon.
Did my pantomime shoot today at the wonderful Wotton House hotel!
The house and grounds looked even better in a covering in a blanket of snow so we braved the weather, with blanket clad models and a camera batteries refusing to work for more then 10 minutes at a time in the cold, hopefully got some good shots!
looking good guys XP
i was hoping to have a final design by now but as i don’t i am uploading my initial design before i start adding my how to’s and final images 🙂
i am almost finished with this project but have not made any of the how to’s as have been very busy with the making.
new project 🙂 and this one i am soooo excited about! ike the last project i had to pick a Shakespearean play, this time i am focusing on the Taming of the Shrew, but now we can pick out own time period, genre and create 2 costumes.
I have chosen to create for a pantomime and my time period is the 18th century, not only do the time period and the theme go well together as the 18th century style is used alot in pantomime costumes but i happen to love both!
I have already started my research and have a rough idea on what i am going to be making, we be sure to update soon with making or design news 🙂
(The photo is from the 2006 Film Marie Antoinette which inspired me to choose the 18th Century am i am focussed on it in my currnent essay.)
